Maria focuses on providing support and assistance in all aspects of investigations brought by the Financial Conduct Authority, and the Serious Fraud Office, corporate internal investigations (primarily involving financial misstatements, money laundering, fraud, bribery and corruption), as well as banking and financial sector regulatory investigations

Maria has experience in conducting legal research and presenting findings, management and coordination of detailed document reviews and case management, the review and analysis of case material, and preparing clients for their regulatory and internal interviews, as well as hearing and trial preparation.  Throughout the years, Maria worked in a number of large scale and high-profile cases.

As a native Russian speaker, she also assists with interpretation and translation.

Maria joined Fox Williams in May 2016, and has over 20 years of legal experience in the United Kingdom and Canada.
