The 2025 legal directory results highlight Fox Williams’ exceptional client satisfaction and loyalty across key practice areas, further cementing the firm’s growth trajectory. Following its earlier growth announcement in October, these rankings showcase the firm’s growing prominence in its sector specialisms, affirming its role as a leader in partnership law, employment, financial services, and technology.

Notable highlights from Chambers & Partners

Fox Williams’ partners receiving new Band 1 rankings were Jane Mann, Daniel Sutherland and Farina Azam, joining Gavin Foggo, Rhys Griffiths and Liz Ruff who continue to maintain their top-tier rankings. The firm maintained its Band 1 recognition as a leading firm for Partnership and Travel: Regulatory & Commercial.

For a second year, every partner of the employment team is recognised across Employment: Senior Executive and Employer tables, with the bench in the team strengthened by the arrival of seasoned partners David Williams and Marian Bloodworth earlier this month.

Andrew Hill’s practice continued its impressive trajectory as Group Litigation: Claimant entered the ranking table in Band 2, with Andrew’s individual ranking rising to Band 2, and fellow group litigation partner Matthew Reach receiving Up & Coming recognition.

The Financial Services team received a new Band 3 entry in Consumer Finance. Sona Ganatra and Sebastian Sayer both received an improved ranking in Contentious Regulatory (Individuals) at Band 3 and Up & Coming respectively. Sona also boasts a new Band 4 ranking in the Financial Crime: Individuals table.

Overall, 29 individuals, received 36 rankings and were ranked across 14 practice areas in Chambers and Partners UK.

Gavin Foggo and Chris Hill received Hall of Fame recognition, joining fellow ranked partners Rhys Griffiths and Jane Mann.

Six partners received new Leading Partners and Next Generation Partners recognition, with a total of 23 lawyers, earning a total of 25 individual rankings across 22 practice areas.

Fox Williams maintained its Tier 1 rankings in Partnership, Travel: Regulatory & Commercial and M&A: Smaller Deals, £10m-£100m.

The firm’s financial services and technology departments achieved a new Tier 4 ranking for its FinTech practice in the FinTech: corporate & commercial table, as well as an improved Tier 2 ranking for its FinTech: regulatory work.

The employment team received an improved Tier 3 ranking in the Employers table, while Fraud: Civil climbed to Tier 4. Transport Aviation and Venture Capital received recognition, entering the tables at Tier 5 and Tier 6 respectively.
